Isaiah Dawson


Isaiah Dawson is a 6-foot-2, 202-pound cornerback at The Bishop’s School, where he competed for coach Joel Allen. Dawson earned two varsity letters playing football and four in lacrosse. Insider Lacrosse magazine rates him the nation’s best player in the 2018 recruiting class.

A shutdown corner on the football field, Dawson earned All-Coastal League First-Team Defense honors in both 2016 and 2017. He played a huge role in Bishop’s run to a Coastal League championship and a 9-1 finish overall.

Off the field, Dawson carried a 4.8 GPA and he serves as the Head Ambassador of the student body for his class and is also President of the BSU program. He also participates in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bishop’s Chapter and has been a Bishop’s ASB leader for four years. He has earned the Scholastic Award in both his junior and senior years.

Dawson has accepted an offer to attend Harvard University, where he will continue to play lacrosse and major in economics. In his free time, he enjoys working out, coaching younger players, community service and video games. Isaiah is the son of Jennifer and Brian Dawson.
