Thomas Fishburne


Thomas Fishburne (Fish) is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound quarterback, free safety, kicker and punter at Steele Canyon High School, where he played for coach Scott Longerbone. Fishburne, a multi-sport team captain, earned three varsity letters in football, four in track and field, three in basketball and one in volleyball.

He led the football team to the CIF Division 3-A state title in 2017, passing for over 2,000 yards and 29 TDs and rushing for over 900 yards and 14 TDs. Fishburne was named to the All-CIF San Diego Section Second-Team Offense and he was selected as the Star of the Month by the San Diego Hall of Champions in December.

Off the field, Fishburne maintained a 3.92 GPA and was named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team for football, basketball and track and field for three years. He has spent time volunteering at a neighborhood public school working with troubled youth and has also been a Safe School Ambassador for three years at Steele Canyon.  

Fishburne is committed to playing football at the college level and is entertaining numerous offers at this time. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports with his family and friends. Thomas is the son of Ben and Anne Fishburne.
