Michael Dallas


Michael Dallas is 6-foot-1, 285-pound offensive and defensive lineman at the Army-Navy Academy, where he competed for coach Nehemiah Brunson. Dallas is a tri-sport athlete, earning three varsity letters in football and one each in wrestling and track and field. He intends to letter in lacrosse later this year.

Dallas was a All-Pacific League First-Team Offense selection in 2017. His versatility allowed him to play multiple positions across the offensive line. He also has outstanding leadership skills, which led to him being a team captain of the football team for two years.

Off the field, Dallas maintained a 4.17 GPA and has been named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team on three different occasions. He also earned the honor during wrestling and track and field. Dallas is a National Hispanic Scholar recipient and on the Honor Roll and Dean’s list at his school. He participates in theater, JROTC, sports club, reading club and philosophy club.

Dallas plans to continue playing football in college, but has not made a commitment yet. In his free time, Dallas enjoys weightlifting. Michael is the son of Jane Steckler and Bruce Shoemaker.
